Actor Jung Hae In is set to return with another sweet drama.
According to OSEN(Korean entertainment news outlet)’s exclusive report on February 11th(KST), Jung Hae In has been offered the lead role in the upcoming drama ‘This Damn Love’ (working title). After reviewing the proposal positively, he has recently decided to take on the role.
Produced by Studio S, ‘This Damn Love’ will be directed by Kim Jang Han of SBS’s 'My Demon', with a script penned by writer Mo Ji Hye. The series is a romantic comedy.
Jung Hae In will play the role of the second-in-command in an organization, whose specialty is boxing. Known for his natural and realistic portrayals of romance in dramas such as 'Something in the Rain' and 'One Spring Night', Jung recently ventured into romantic comedy with 'Mom’s Friend’s Son'.
His chemistry with Jung So Min, as well as his comedic timing and effortless portrayal of everyday life, became a hot topic, leading to a surge in devoted shippers.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In is currently enjoying a successful streak in both dramas and films, having also taken on a new character in 'Veteran 2'. With his next romance project in the works, expectations are high for what 'This Damn Love' will bring to the table.
The female lead is expected to be Ha Young, who recently gained recognition through 'Trauma Center'. She will play a doctor with amnesia, creating a sweet on-screen chemistry with Jung Hae In.
‘This Damn Love’ is currently in talks for global OTT distribution.
