BLACKPINK’s Lisa makes Oscars history with Doja Cat and RAYE performance

BLACKPINK’s Lisa to perform at the Academy Awards with Doja Cat and RAYE.

For the first time in history, a K-pop artist will take the stage at the Academy Awards as BLACKPINK’s Lisa joins Doja Cat and RAYE for a special performance.

On February 25th (KST), the Academy Awards officially announced via social media that Lisa, Doja Cat, and RAYE will perform together at the 97th Academy Awards on March 3rd.

Although Lisa will not be performing her latest solo track, Born Again, the Academy teased a “legendary performance” featuring the three global stars.

Lisa’s participation marks a historic first, as no K-pop artist has ever been invited to perform at the Oscars before. The 97th Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with comedian Conan O’Brien making his debut as host.

This milestone further solidifies Lisa’s global influence and underscores K-pop’s expanding presence on the world’s biggest stages.
