JYP Entertainment has released a statement regarding the lawsuit filed by KG, a member of their global girl group VCHA, seeking to terminate her contract with the agency.

On December 8, a JYP Entertainment official told Star News, "We have not yet received the official lawsuit filing from KG, so we are currently in the process of confirming the details." However, they acknowledged that "there have been differences in opinion" regarding the situation, stating that they had previously engaged in discussions with KG's representatives. The agency concluded by saying that they will proceed according to the legal process.

Earlier, KG announced on social media that she had filed a lawsuit to terminate her contract with JYP Entertainment and leave VCHA. In her statement, she cited "abuse and mistreatment by certain staff members" as the reason for her decision, claiming that the working environment was detrimental to her mental health. She also expressed concern for her fellow VCHA members.

KG further alleged that she had been burdened with significant company debt and subjected to extreme restrictions on her personal life, while receiving minimal compensation for her work. She revealed that she made the decision to leave back in May and has been waiting for the termination of her contract since then.
