The Top 20 contestants of Mediacorp's 'Star Search 2024' were revealed in a glitzy event at the Mediacorp campus, marking the start of their journey to stardom. Chosen from three rounds of auditions, these contestants, aged 17 to 28, include students, breakdancers, and content creators, all eager to showcase their talents and leave a mark on Singapore's entertainment scene.
To prepare for the competition, the contestants are undergoing masterclasses led by industry experts, covering topics like Expression and Communication, Stage Presence, and Acting. Mentors include veteran stars Guo Liang, Sheila Sim, and award-winning theater director Nelson Chia.
As the competition heats up, the pressure builds with semi-finals and eliminations approaching. Audiences can follow their journey in a five-episode series starting October 20 on Mediacorp platforms, leading to the live final on November 24, where the top three winners will be crowned.
