'Squid Game' actor Oh Young Soo is facing prison for indecent assault charges.

The actor was indicted on the charges of indecent assault in 2022 for inappropriately touching an unnamed woman in 2017. Oh Young Soo is continuing to deny the allegations, stating he just held her hand to guide the way around a lake. It's further been reported he forcibly hugged her in August 2017 while hiking and kissed her on the cheek in September of 2017. 

On February 2, prosecutors requested 1 year in prison for allegedly touching a woman inappropriately. According to prosecutors, Oh Young Soo "expressed his lust" while drinking with the alleged victim in 2017, and when he texted an apology to her, he claimed she was like a daughter to him to "manipulate her." 

Oh Young Soo's lawyers argued there was a lack of evidence aside from the alleged victim's statement, and the actor himself stated, "It's difficult for me to stand before the court at my age. I feel like my life is ruined due to the fact that this is how I'll end my life. I ask you to make a wise ruling."
