SM Entertainment has responded to rumors about Red Velvet's final release.

Fans have been speculating whether 'Chill Kill' will be Red Velvet's final release after the girl group changed their Instagram profile name to "Happy Ending. It's Just a Story of us" with all their 'Highlight' videos taken down.

In response, SM Entertainment stated, "The phrase 'Happy Ending' in the profile was changed to match the concept of their new album," denying that 'Chill Kill' will be Red Velvet's final release.

Red Velvet debuted in 2014 and celebrated their 9th anniversary this year. So far, only member Seulgi has reportedly renewed her contract. The girl group's upcoming album 'Chill Kill' will be their first full-length album in about 6 years.

Stay tuned for updates on Red Velvet.
