P.O. reveals his late mother's wish was his enlistment in Marines

P.O. revealed his late mother wished for him to enlist in the Marines.

On June 9, P.O. sat down for an interview with the 'National Defense NEWS' channel and opened up about why he decided to serve his mandatory military service in the Marine Corps. He shared, "My mother wanted me to serve in the military in a cool place, and I wanted to grant her this wish. That's why I decided to enlist in the Marines."

P.O. is known to have failed several times applying for the Marines Corps, and after 4 years, he was finally able to enlist. He expressed, "The first time I volunteered for the Marines Corps when I was 27. I was dropped all 3 times from ages 27-29." The Block B member's mother passed away in 2017 when he was just 25 years old. 

P.O. joined the Marine Corps in March of last year, and he's set to be discharged this September.
