tripleS to release an album as a 10-member sub-unit in Mid February

tripleS to release an album as a 10-member sub-unit in Mid February

Girl group tripleS are currently preparing to release an album set to release in mid-February.

tripleS have been revealing members since May 2022 and currently have 11 members.

Former Girls Planet 999 contestant, Kamimoto Kotone, was recently revealed to be the 11th member of tripleS. But she will not be participating in the upcoming release due to the sub-unit members being confirmed before her arrival and she is currently located in Japan.

While tripleS are preparing, Kotone will be very frequently appearing on their YouTube daily vlog series 'SIGNAL'.

Previously in October 2022, tripleS' sub-unit Acid Angel from Asia, debuted and gained popularity for their song 'Generation' which reached over 29M+ views on YouTube and won 2nd place on ' SBS The Show.'

After the promotions of tripleS 10-member release, it is expected the sub-unit +(KR)ystal Eyes, will start making their preparations. Originally, +(KR)ystal Eyes was suspected to debut prior to the 10-member release but, to avoid confusion about the concept, they will debut as a group first.

The 10-member unit consists of: Kim YooYeon, Kim NaKyoung, Gong YuBin, Jeong HyeRin (Acid Angel from Asia members), Yoon SeoYeon,  Kim ChaeYeon, Lee JiWoo, Kim SooMin (+(KR)ystal Eyes members), Kaede and Seo DaHyun.

As tripleS is a fan-participatory group, fans of tripleS voted for which song they wanted to be tripleS' title track for this release.

Literally every other song was better than Song B but of course people had to pick the most "girl crush" sounding one, I hope they don't end up being the same as 80% of 4th gen girl groups.
