On December 15, South Korea's National Tax Service published a list of 6,940 individuals who evaded their tax payments for over a year, or who failed to pay over 200 million KRW in taxes.
Rapper Dok2, also known as Lee Joon Kyung (32), was among the list of names. The list indicated that Dok2 owed 300 million KRW (~ $230,500 USD) in taxes, which he is believed to have evaded for over a year.
Additionally, Jeon Hye Kyung (63), known as the mother of actor Jang Geun Suk, was among the list of names for owing approximately 185.5 million KRW in taxes. Previously, Jeon Hye Kyung made headlines in 2020 for tax evasion and illegal monetary transactions overseas.
