Spotify announces streaming sponsorship with the '2022 MAMA Awards'

On October 21, Spotify announced, "Spotify is the exclusive music streaming sponsor of the '2022 MAMA Awards'! Stay tuned K-Pop fans #2022MAMA #MAMAxSpotify."
As the music streaming platform did not reveal any specific details regarding the sponsorship, fans will have to wait a little longer to find out additional details surrounding Spotify's partnership with the '2022 MAMA Awards'.
Meanwhile, one of the biggest music award shows representing Asia, the '2022 MAMA Awards' is set to take place from November 29-30 at the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan.

This sounds like some scheme to be able to nominate/invite all those "popular" boy groups that never chart on those korean platforms. These days only the girl groups/trot singers are charting there. No one wants to watch the mama awards if it's just filled with girl groups. Boy groups have more loyal stans.
