ITZY's Chaeryeong has tested positive for COVID-19.
On August 25, JYP Entertainment announced Chaeryeong tested positive for COVID-19 after returning to Korea on the 22nd. The rest of the ITZY members are negative. The label stated, "Currently, Chaeryeong is asymptomatic. She's in quarantine according to the instructions of the health center. She's immediately suspending her schedule and taking treatment to rest."
Chaeryeong won't be attending the '2022 K Global Hit Dream Awards' being held today, and only 4 members will be on stage for the event. ITZY's schedule for their upcoming in-person fan signing event will also be changed.
In related news, Chaeryeong tested positive for COVID-19 this past February as well.
