The sales for white slip-on VANS increase 7,800% after 'Squid Game'

This coming Halloween, many people will be wearing the signature green tracksuit and the white Vans from the Netflix hit series 'Squid Game.'

According to Variety, "white slip-on Vans saw a 7,800% spike in sales since the show hit Netflix, according to data provided by Sole Supplier. The white slip-on shoes, more broadly, have also seen a 97% uptick in search volume, according to Lyst."

It seems that viewers and fans of the show are looking to recreate the green uniforms worn by the contestants of the dystopian game seen in the Korean thriller series 'Squid Game.' Other than the white slip-on shoes from Vans, green tracksuits have also become a best-seller after the series aired. Other items include red jumpsuits and fencing masks that fans are purchasing to recreate the guards seen on the show.
