He has caused “sold out crises” with many products he used, but beyond that, he has changed the course of business for quite a few brands making them hugely successful and helping them grow and expand.


Many of these brands were online-only before Jungkook used their products but were able to launch their first physical store thanks to “The Jungkook Effect.”


These are 4 brands that have been able to open physical stores after Jungkook made them hugely popular:

1. Delixir became the latest brand to open its first physical store this month. Jungkook was seen wearing their products multiple times in the past and sold them all out. The brand gained overnight recognition and has seen continuous growth in sales ever since. This brand is extra special as they actively support animal welfare with their profits.

2. Zijanzsa, the brand that made the Modern Hanbok popularized by Jungkook. Jungkook set a trend by wearing the Modern Hanbok and styling it with a T-shirt and oversized sneakers. His airport look causes a stir among netizens and the general public alike. Jungkook was credited with making the Hanbok trendy and popular among young people. The Modern Hanbok gained immense popularity, and the brand Zijanzsa became a household name overnight with huge surges in sales.

4. Lamodechief, a gender-less clothing brand that Jungkook wore, gained huge popularity because of him and sold out every item. They experienced consistent heavy demand for their products and saw massive growth in sales. They were able to open their first physical store at Shilla Duty-Free department store.

4. Teazen’s Kombucha became an overnight sold-out item nationwide after Jungkook drank it in his live stream. The brand has since then expanded globally due to exponentially high demand worldwide, and this year they were awarded the no. 1 Brand of the Year by the Korean Consumer Forum. They opened their first physical store due to the increased demand caused by Jungkook’s impact.
