8Eight's Baek Chan announced he'll be marrying later this month.

According to reports on April 8, Baek Chan is tying the knot with a non-celebrity office worker, who's 3 years his junior, on the 24th KST. It's reported they've been dating for the past 6 years, and instead of a wedding ceremony, the families of both sides will be getting together for a meal. 

Baek Chan said on his bride-to-be, "She's a bright, energetic, and smiling person who's been raised with a lot of love." He also said there were many changes in his life thanks to his girlfriend, saying, "When I met her, I became a lot more fun and bright as well. My quality of life increased, and I've become happier. My habit of getting too serious is gone. On the other hand, I think my girlfriend has developed some sensitivity and delicacy."

The two met for the first time 6 years ago as they're both in the music business, and the singer shared, "My girlfriend did not wish to date people in this industry, but I went after her for about 2 months." 

As for his future music promotions, Baek Chan expressed, "I said I would release a lot of albums in the future on 'King of Mask Singer' last year, but when I released my first album with difficulty, I felt empty. I think I can write songs and release albums when music gets easier for me."
