BTS Jimin will celebrate its 26^th birthday in 4 days. As it draws near, special and various gifts to honor and celebrate Jimin’s date of birth, have been announced. The projects vary from massive advertisements, fundraising, and donations to different causes, planting trees to save the environment, and many more. The fans have been very resourceful and creative in giving meaning to the celebration of Jimin Day (October 13) and Jimtober (Jimin+October).

Jimin has yet received another special gift from the fans. On October 8, BTS Jimin’s Vietnamese fanbase Live for Jimin’s Vocal uploaded a video of “Sarang” on its Youtube channel. “Sarang” is a mellow song composed by the fans as a gift for Jimin’s 26^th birthday.

Jimin became the first and only individual idol who received a gift of a song composed by fans.  Usually,  the artists compose songs dedicated to their fans.  It is very uncommon for the fans to do the other way around.  There is no doubt that the Top Idol and King of Kpop deserves this very endearing gift.   

On Twitter, Live for Jimin’s Vocal posted the announcement and said, “A special gift for Park Jimin – Our reasons, our “Sarang.” The first Jimin’s fan song composed by Live for Jimin’s Vocal – Jimin’s Vietnamese Fanbase.”

The song has a sweet melody coupled with heartfelt lyrics.

Just an excerpt from the lyrics of “Sarang”:

“Just be the way you like. You’re a shining light. We’ll be your lights and by your side. Love gives us power, and you become our angel. We love your tears and your smiles. So please always do never mind. Cause if you’re fine, then we’re fine. Just keep your smile, then we’re fine.”

“Sarang” in Korea means love. As the title says, the song is about an expression of the love of fans for Jimin. It talks about how Jimin has inspired and how he has helped them to go through difficult times. The song likewise sends a sincere message to Jimin to remind him to do and be whatever he aspires to be, and the fans will always stay behind him to support him.

The song highlighted the special bond between Jimin and his fans. It is indeed the best way to convey such a message of love to a great artist like Jimin.

The song is produced by Lắc Lắc and arranged by 13. The vocals are provided by 13 and Lắc Lắc.
