TWICE mobbed at Gimpo airport, members' discomfort worries fans
TWICE came back to Korea on July 31, 2019 after wrapping up their official schedules in Japan. Allegedly, two other K-Pop groups were scheduled to land around the same time as the girl group on this day, causing major, chaotic traffic jams.
A massive crowd of fans and fansites of TWICE and the other two groups (one was said to be IZ*ONE and the other still undetermined) got mixed up at Gimpo International Airport's arrival area; unfortunately, TWICE was the group who experienced the brunt of the incident.
Some members were evidently uncomfortable and were even caught on video getting bumped and pushed.

Several groups arrived at the same time so the airport was more hectic than usual... It really shouldn’t get like this and hopefully they can tighten security next time, especially because of how upset/worried the members looked. Get home safely 🙏
A fan who was at the airport recounted her experience.
the guards were literally pushing me and i couldnt move away to give them space and at one point i got shoved in the back corner of the door so i couldnt get out.. u can hear a girl in pain by me cause we both got shoved dude wtf
i’m okay but a bunch of people got shoved because others were trying to get hellos and give gifts to twice even though they were obviously uncomfortable w everyone being so close to them..?
for izone i was behind a little barricade and both izone and i were able to keep safe but it was so bad for twice.. even after all that dahyun was waving to fans in her van :(
let me clarify: the guards were trying their best and i was listening to them, but the people around me ignored them and so i got caught in the swarm of people when it got extremely hectic :/ god i hope this doesn’t happen again
do people realize shit like this can affect them and even traumatize them you wouldn’t do this to a normal person then don’t do it towards celebrities stop treating them like objects or animals this isn’t a zoo you can see them from afar ffs
Just because they’re celebrities, doesn’t mean they’re not human. It doesn’t matter if you want to get the best photos, respect their boundaries and personal space. If they feel like they’re in danger, you need to reevaluate what you’re doing and step back
Nayeon is scared. She never likes being crowded by ppl. & especially since the incidents where she got knocked down & jeongyeon had to help her up to safety. Also that time someone grabbed her arm. I hate this for them all.
