On April 30, the press conference for Mnet's 'Produce X 101' took place at 63 Convention Center in Yeoido, Seoul.
MC Lee Dong Wook, the trainers - Lee Suk Hoon, Shin Yoo Mi, Cheetah, Bae Yoon Jung, Kwon Jae Seung, and Choi Young Joon - producer Ahn Joon Young, head director Kim Yong Bum, and the 101 trainees attended the event.
Lee Dong Wook shared about being the MC, and said, "I also went through preparation in order to become an actor. We're in different fields, but I thought it would be nice for me to share my thoughts and tips, so I decided to appear (on the show). It's also a new challenge for me."
He added, "My strength is that I'm a male MC. I think they will be able to reach me more comfortably and share their concerns."
'Produce X 101' with male trainees is scheduled to start on May 3.
