Dispatch revealed the details in the ongoing conflict between Kang Daniel and LM Entertainment. 

According to the exclusive report on April 2, Kang Daniel and the agency had a good relationship until a lady referred to as "Seol noona" stepped into their business. 

Seol is an agent in Hong Kong who takes charge of hallyu stars' overseas business from endorsements to events, performances, and more. 

Dispatch claims Kang Daniel has built a firm relationship with the noona since the Wanna One days. Seol escorted Kang Daniel and his crew during their visit to Hong Kong. She reserved a high-end Michelin restaurant, took them private shopping, and even booked a suite room in a luxury hotel. 

On January 7, 2019, Kang Daniel introduced Seol to LM Entertainment. Seol offered various business plans including global advertisements, overseas events and concerts, fan meetings, fan clubs, and more. She then asked the agency to give her a 30% commission of the overseas earnings. LM Entertainment needed time to look over the offer, and said, "We will review it."

Several weeks later on January 31, Seol reappeared, this time, as Kang Daniel's legal representative. She asked to see Kang Daniel's contract to LM Entertainment. A day later, Kang Daniel requested nullification of the contract, claiming there are unfair clauses. 

Dispatch also reported Seol mentioned Won as the major investor for Kang Daniel. In the past, Won has taken a vital part in various entertainment businesses with ties to YG Plus, and J.Tune Entertainment. 

In response to the Dispatch report, Kang Daniel's side refused to share any official statement, stating, "We will not respond to every single claim made by another party," and asked the public to wait for the truth to be revealed at the court.

Won also stated he does not know Kang Daniel and he has no plans to invest in the entertainment business anymore. 

Meanwhile, Kang Daniel's request for contract nullification will be officially reviewed at the Seoul Central District Court on April 5.
