Highlight's Kikwang to begin his mandatory military service on April 18

Kikwang is scheduled to begin his military service this spring.

According to his agency Around US Entertainment, the Highlight member will report to book camp on April 18.

"Kikwang recently received notice that he was accepted as a conscripted police officer," the agency revealed. "He will be entering training camp on April 18. Because he will be working as a conscripted officer, there is a high possibility he will be sent to the Korea Army Training Center located in Nonsan."

Kikwang will be the third member to enter the military, following Dojoon and Yoseob, who are currently active soldiers.

Meanwhile, the idol has revealed that he will release new music and appear on variety programming to be able to connect with fans one last time before having to enlist.
