MBC responds to reports about termination of daily dramas

MBC responded to reports about daily dramas coming to an end after 22 years. 


Earlier, it was reported 'Enemies From the Past' will be the last daily drama by MBC. A few hours later, a rep from MBC told Sports Chosun, "It's true the termination of daily dramas is under discussion, however, nothing is yet confirmed."

MBC daily dramas first started on August 11, 1969. In 1984, MBC daily dramas came to an end. After 12 years of termination, MBC restarted daily drama production in 1996. MBC daily dramas are looking to face termination once again after 22 years.
