According to an exclusive report by Sports World, a rep from MBC stated, "No new productions have been planned to air after the end of current MBC daily drama 'Enemies From the Past'." Another insider commented, "Head director Kim Seung Mo of the daily drama department has been transferred to the weekend drama department as there will be no new productions (of daily dramas)."

MBC daily dramas first started on August 11, 1969. In 1984, MBC daily dramas came to an end. After 12 years of termination, MBC restarted daily drama production in 1996. MBC daily dramas are facing termination once again after 22 years.
Meanwhile, 'Enemies From the Past' started airing on November 27. The drama consisting of 120 episodes is scheduled to end on May 28.
