On November 30, the '2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards' held its 'Professional Categories Awards' ceremony, recognizing individuals who work behind the scenes in the music industry.

Big Hit Entertainment's CEO Bang Si Hyuk attended the ceremony as the keynote speaker, addressing the success of BTS in the Western music market. Bang Si Hyuk said, "I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all artists and professionals who devoted themselves to the development of Kpop. Their work played a decisive role for BTS to leap forward, and BTS could not have come this far if it weren't for Kpop's amazing accomplishments that has been made until now."
