On August 24, 'Cadillac House Seoul' opened its studio's doors for a grand opening ceremony.
Well-known stars such as Girls' Generation member Sooyoung, actress Lee Min Jung, and more attended the grand opening ceremony. �On the main floor was Cadillac's newest SUV XT5,�a vehicle that Sooyoung filmed a CF for (see video above).
A Cadillac representative commented on the sudden increase in sales after Sooyoung's commercial was revealed to the general public, "Cadillacs have been and still are mainly targeted towards a male audience, thus we have mostly male customers. �However, after an advertisement went out featuring Girls' Generation's Sooyoung riding a white XT5, we have experienced a drastic rise in female customers. �Already, 50 vehicles are on order."�
The rep also mentioned the reason they chose the idol singer to represent their new vehicle. �"To be honest, Cadillac has left a strong impression on its old, classic appeal of the past. �However, the new Cadillac is changing; the product and brand are becoming more youthful. �With that being said, we thought Sooyoung was the perfect choice in expressing a young, energetic, and sophisticated image."
