Arena Homme Plus has released its December issue pictorial and interview featuring FIFTY FIFTY.
In the photos and interview revealed on November 25th KST, FIFTY FIFTY showcased the same fresh and lively charm that they displayed during their comeback promotions.
Their new album captures the excitement and thrill of falling in love, expressed in FIFTY FIFTY’s own style. “The title track ‘Eeny meeny miny moe(가위바위보)' compares the feelings right before confessing to someone to a game of rock-paper-scissors. It’s playful but full of butterflies,” Yewon said. Hana added, “‘Skittlez’ holds meaning in the various colors of candy. Just like those bright colors, it expresses our many different charms and the idea of confidently showing love between family, friends, or lovers.”
Member Athena also shared a fun behind-the-scenes moment from the music video shoot. “Last comeback, the ‘Pookie’ choreography went viral when we performed the boy group version. So the director suggested adding a boy group version of the choreography to the ‘Skittlez’ music video as well. At the very end of the video, you can see a few seconds of the boy group version of ‘Skittlez.’”
The five members also showed how much stronger they’ve become as a group. “Our energy is best when we’re all together. When we’re apart, we miss each other like family, and when we reunite, it feels so good. The five of us become one when we’re together, and that gives us strength,” Chanelle Moon shared. Keena then spoke about the direction they want to pursue: “In the long term, we want to be a group that makes people wonder, ‘What kind of music will FIFTY FIFTY release next, and what will they show us?’ We’ll continue working toward that goal. We hope to make music for a long time and be loved for a long time.”
