Actress Seo Ye Ji has paid tribute to the late actor Lee Soon Jae.
On November 25th KST, Seo Ye Ji posted several photos on her Instagram along with a message that read, “To the teacher I respect and love the most, I love you. Thank you. I will remember you forever.”
The released photos show Seo Ye Ji smiling warmly alongside Lee Soon Jae. She recalled her memories by sharing images from the times she attended his plays and personally met him.
The two worked together in the sitcom ‘Potato Star 2013QR3’. At the time, Seo Ye Ji had named Lee Soon Jae as her role model, saying, “It was the first time we worked together, and he was truly incredible. He never grew tired, and with every project he showed a completely different image. I learned so much from his sincerity and dedication.”
According to his family, Lee Soon Jae passed away early on November 25th at the age of 91. His funeral has been set up at the Seoul Asan Medical Center in Songpa-gu, with the procession scheduled for 6:20 AM on the 27th. The burial site will be at Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province. His surviving family includes his wife Choi Hee Jung, one son, and one daughter.
