'2025 MAMA AWARDS' marks the first K-pop awards ceremony held at Kai Tak Stadium, a state-of-the-art venue that has completely sold out. The two-day event will kick off with actor PARK BO GUM hosting CHAPTER 1, followed by actress KIM HYE SOO taking the stage for CHAPTER 2. For the first time, 2025 MAMA AWARDS will livestream globally in 4K via Mnet Plus, delivering performances with enhanced visuals and expanded viewing angles. The performing artist lineup spans K-pop’s full spectrum –– from legendary artists to global chart-toppers and rising stars.
CHAPTER 1 performing artists include: ALPHA DRIVE ONE, BABYMONSTER, BOYNEXTDOOR, BUMSUP, ENHYPEN, Hearts2Hearts,i-dle, IVE, MEOVV, MIRROR, NCT WISH, SUPER JUNIOR TREASURE, and TWS. CHAPTER 2 performing artists include: aespa, ALLDAY PROJECT, CORTIS, G-DRAGON, IDID, izna, JO1, KickFlip, KYOKA, RIIZE, Stray Kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, WING, and ZEROBASEONE.
Key Highlight #3: Iconic Performances and Cross-Genre Collaborations
'2025 MAMA AWARDS’ concept, “HEAR MY ROAR: UH-HEUNG” will come to life through MAMA AWARDS’ signature stages. CHAPTER 1’s opening features host PARK BO GUM alongside BOYNEXTDOOR, BUMSUP, CORTIS and TREASURE for a fresh multi-genre interpretation of Korean traditional song “Kwaejina Ching Ching”. CHAPTER 2 opens with host KIM HYE SOO, making her MAMA AWARDS hosting debut, will take the stage with Stray Kids’ Felix for a special opening performance, followed by an exclusive stage featuring ZEROBASEONE’s SUNG HAN BIN and KYOKA from Mnet’s WORLD OF STREET WOMAN FIGHTER.
In a landmark collaboration, 2025 MAMA AWARDS will team up with Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters to bring the film’s climatic battle between Saja Boys and HUNTR/X from screen to stage. More highlights include global K-pop rookie group ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s MAMA AWARDS debut, veteran K-pop idol Super Junior’s 20th anniversary special performance and global K-pop powerhouse Stray Kids unveiling the first-ever performance of a new track from their upcoming album. Adding to star power, Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh will present on CHAPTER 1, while legendary Hong Kong actor and international film icon Chow Yun-fat will present on CHAPTER 2.
