
Actor couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin, who are set to marry this December, paid their respects to the late veteran actor Lee Soon Jae with matching condolence wreaths.
Lee Soon Jae passed away on November 25 at the age of 91. His funeral altar has been set up in Room 30 of the funeral hall at Asan Medical Center in Pungnap-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The ceremony is being held under the auspices of the Artists Association, and the bereaved family has been receiving visitors since Monday afternoon.
As condolence wreaths from colleagues and juniors in the entertainment industry continued to arrive, the wreaths sent by Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah especially drew attention. According to industry insiders, wreaths bearing the names “Actor Kim Woo Bin” and “Actor Shin Min Ah” were placed side by side at the funeral hall, symbolizing their shared tribute to the esteemed actor.
Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin have been one of Korea’s most beloved public couples since confirming their relationship in 2015, marking ten years together. Known for their steady philanthropy and charitable work as a couple, they have often been praised for their harmonious and supportive partnership. Most recently, the two announced that they will hold their wedding ceremony on December 20 at a hotel in Seoul, generating significant public interest.
Meanwhile, Lee Soon Jae’s funeral is being conducted with the highest honors in recognition of his lifelong dedication to acting, a career he continued even into his nineties. In addition to the main funeral hall, a separate memorial area has been prepared at the KBS Annex in Yeouido, where the general public may pay their respects. The public memorial site will open on Monday evening.
The funeral procession will take place at 6:20 a.m. on November 27, and the burial site will be Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
