PRISTIN worked their hardest to perform for their fans.

The girls were at the 39th Yangyang Culture Festival. During their performance, hail started to fall to a point where the girls could not perform and had to get off stage so the staff could install some kind of roof against the hail.

However, as that would keep PRISTIN from performing, the girls told the MC that they would perform without it, and the staff took the installment off. The girls came back on stage to perform, but the hail got even worse, and the MC hurriedly called the girls back off the stage and even told the audience to go back because the weather was so horrible.

Check out the clip above.

dedication! hope they are ok though!

Poor girls.  This is ridiculous to even try in these conditions.

There is no need for them to go to such lengths, and curse their management scum for allowing it. Pristin and all girl groups are entertainers - not fucking special operations troops operating on a national security mission. Nothing they do is worth even the chance of them getting injured or sick. Shithead management's first and most important job is to look out for the welfare of their people. Yet another miserable fail.

stay safe girls!

Why would installing a roof prevent the girls from performing?

cabbagejuice julee22 Sunday, June 11, 2017

no the hail prevented them, so they tried to put up a tent but the tent wasnt that tall and the legs would get in the way while they were dancing, someone could trip. so they took it away

While i admire their dedication to perform for their fans, the organisers have to also take into account not only the safety of the performers, but also the audience, calling it off is a good idea, they (PRISTIN) can always hold another one in future.

I'm trying to figure out why its hailing in June. Korea's weather patterns are way different then the states

I like the MC. I like people with sense in general. Safety is priority after all.

they should've kept those party tents and perform under them :P now the public only got half a performance.

Winston intricate Sunday, June 11, 2017

Hail stones is very very dangerous, some can even smash a car windscreen, even if the tents are able to hold it off, what of the audience watching? Does it take an injury or an accident before we start to BLAME the organizers why they didnt stop the performance in the first place?

cabbagejuice Winston Sunday, June 11, 2017

hail like that rarely happens, i think they just took it down bc they could trip on the tents or hit their hands on it while swinging their arms (it wasnt a very tall tent)

intricate Winston Sunday, June 11, 2017

those hailstones were just annoying enough to prevent people from functioning normally.

intricate cabbagejuice Sunday, June 11, 2017

i think they took them down because Pristin requested them to do so. After all, those tents block the lights so the performance is partly compromised. But then it started to hail a little more so the stage manager called the rest of their performance off as there was nothing to protect the performers anymore, which is a good decision. So in this case it's a somewhat bad decision on Pristin's part.
