tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Head Over Heels' is already receiving much attention ahead of its premiere.
'Head Over Heels' is a 12-episode romance drama based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of Bae Gyeon Woo (played by Choo Young Woo), a boy destined to die, and Park Seong Ah (played by Cho Yi Hyun), a shaman girl who tries to save him. The series depicts the blossoming first love and emotional journey of these two 18-year-olds as they attempt to defy fate.
The drama's main trailer (above) begins with Gyeon Woo aiming his bow at a target. It then cuts to Seong Ah, the celestial shaman, saying, “People who walk backward are cursed and close to death,” as Gyeon Woo walks backwards into a temple. Upon foreseeing a grim fate for her first love, Seong Ah begins her mission to save him.
