Pop star Kanye West is pushing ahead with his previously canceled concert in South Korea.
On June 20, concert organizer Channel Candy announced on Instagram that Kanye's Korea concert, YE LIVE IN KOREA, will be held on July 26 at Incheon Munhak Stadium.
They added, “Thank you for waiting. We will repay you with an unforgettable moment.” Kanye had originally planned to hold a concert titled 'BULLY' in collaboration with Coupang Play on May 31.
However, the concert was canceled just 10 days before the scheduled date, with no specific reason provided. It was speculated that the cancellation was due to controversies surrounding Kanye’s support of Nazism and antisemitic remarks.
Kanye drew intense backlash after releasing a digital single titled “Hail Hitler” on May 8. The lyrics included “Heil Hitler,” and the song was released on Europe’s Victory in Europe (VE) Day, adding to the criticism.
It was also revealed that Kanye had previously posted antisemitic and pro-Nazi statements on social media. The track was subsequently removed from the streaming platform Spotify.
