Singer Koo Jun Yup is reportedly considering moving to an area near Jinbo Mountain, where the grave of the late actress Barbie Hsu is located.
According to Taiwanese media outlet ET Today, a local resident recently stated, “About two months ago, Koo Jun Yup came to look at a newly built apartment near Jinbo Mountain.” The apartment is located in a scenic suburban area, and some units are known to offer a view of Jinbo Mountain.
However, it has not been confirmed whether he has actually purchased a unit. Barbie Hsu’s mother responded, “I haven’t heard anything like that. But Koo Jun Yup truly loved Hsi Yuan (Barbie).”

Meanwhile, Barbie Hsu passed away from acute pneumonia caused by influenza while traveling in Japan with her family during the Lunar New Year. She died on February 2, and her funeral was held on March 15 at the Rose Garden in Jimbo Mountain, Taiwan. During the ceremony, Koo Jun Yup carried her urn in his arms and accompanied it to the burial site, staying by her side until the very end.
Since her passing, Koo Jun Yup has reportedly been visiting Jinbo Mountain daily. He is currently working on creating a statue of Barbie Hsu, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026.
