In the early hours of June 21 KST, musician Young Junhyung express his frustration toward his current label, BLACK MADE, through an Instagram story post.
"Last year on the day of the album release, they suddenly called me and said that they would end my contract without any strings attached because they had to close the label. I didn't understand and said that I was confused, and then they took their words back and just said, let's do our best. Within 1~2 months, I get a notice asking me to leave the company and pay damages for an investment from a distributor I'd never even heard of or agreed upon. Apparently there are a bunch of reasons according to the contract but I don't recall doing anything that went against the contract since I signed it...
They came up with 1 billion KRW out of the blue and they just expect me to pay up?
I said I couldn't accept it and asked for them to fulfill their duties as my management company until the end of my contract, and I've been unable to reach them ever since.

According to Yong Junhyung, BLACK MADE has asked that he terminate his contract and pay damages amount to over 1 billion KRW.
Meanwhile, Yong Junhyung previously admitted to receiving illegally filmed sexual content from his acquaintance at the time, Jung Joon Young, in 2019. However, he denied being a part of the controversial 'Burning Sun' group chat room.
In October of last year, Yong Junhyung married fellow musician HyunA.
