Earlier, reports surfaced stating that Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon's upcoming girl group, currently known as i-Teen Girls, was in the process of selecting the final members to debut this July.

Fantagio has since stepped up to clarify, "It's true that i-Teen Girls are preparing for their debut with July as the goal. There will be 8-10 members in the group."

The label also previously stated that not all of the i-Teen Girls who have been greeting fans through their official 'V live' channel are confirmed as members of the upcoming girl group.

Look forward to Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon's debut this July!

gigi9 10thsense Tuesday, May 2, 2017

They'll probably be something like Pristine, huge and energetic girly concept

10thsense gigi9 Tuesday, May 2, 2017

pristin? i hope so

why do companies these days always like to produce big girl groups? gugudan, wjsn, dia, pristin... i don't even know most of the members except for the more popular girls. In the past 4-5 members are the norm, which are so much better at grabbing people's attention. i just don't want yoojung and doyeon's talents to be wasted because they are hidden among so many members, or it might just end up becoming like dodaeng ft. backdancers

Nah doyeon and yoojung will be the only ones u'll know

thealigirl8 Monday, May 1, 2017

i really wanted chunga, yoojung, and doyeon in one group with like maybe two more members

Everybody on here like, "8-10 is too big," but Pristin is doing well with 10 members. I think it just depends how well the company will promote them before they debut. If they do it like Plediz Girlz, they could be successful too. Let's just wait, y'all.

Well, we all knew that PLEDIS girlz was going to be a big group because they were promoted years before they debuted as like 12 girls - even before P101, they were marketed as a large group and everyone knew that all the trainees that appeared on the show would debut together. Same with 17, they had a pre-debut mini series and were introduced as like 16 or more boys. So everyone knew about but then groups like wSJN has gotten nothing but side eyes for being a large group and then tossing in the IOI girl in for popularity - which backfired as she is being completely diluted in the group.

Besides u speak as if Pristine are great, their debut song is nowhere seen in the charts I don't see how they r more successful than Gugudan for example

This seems like a clear case of poor management... or greedy management.  Why would you put these two talents in a large group?  It will dilute what they can do... In my opinion, either of these two can carry a group, especially Yoo Jung!  She has the talent to go solo, but I do like the idea of both of them being in the same group... but please four or five at the most. If they want to show new talent, have two groups.
