YENA to make comeback with 4th mini album ‘Blooming Wings’ on July 29
On July 2 KST, her agency officially announced that YENA will release her 4th mini album ‘Blooming Wings’ on July 29 at 6 PM KST, marking her first comeback since September 2024.
To confirm the news, YENA also unveiled a “Coming Soon” teaser on her official social media. The video shows a fast-spinning white rectangle that transforms into a Clow card-like image, evoking childhood nostalgia with a toy-like visual that reflects YENA’s signature kitsch charm. The teaser ends with the name “YENA” and the comeback date, building anticipation among fans.
Yena’s previous release, the 3rd single ‘HATE XX’ (with the title track “Nemo Nemo”), received acclaim for its cute and quirky appeal, clearly establishing her unique musical identity. The song became a sleeper hit, climbing back up domestic music charts thanks to its addictive melody and relatable MZ-generation vibe.
Since her solo debut in 2022 with tracks like “SMILEY (Feat. BIBI),” “SMARTPHONE,” and “Good Morning,” YENA has crafted her own distinctive musical style—one that balances playful visuals with heartfelt sincerity.
