The mystical charm of K-pop girl group WJSN (Cosmic Girls) was on full display in a newly released editorial.
On July 1 KST, fashion magazine PAP unveiled a stunning pictorial and interview featuring Seola, Exy (Chu Sojung), Eunseo (Son Juyeon), and Yeoreum of WJSN.
This editorial explores the concept of “Aesthetism,” derived from “Aesthetic”—a theme that transcends the mere pursuit of beauty to elevate it to the level of divine reverence. In the pictorial, the members radiate goddess-like visuals, captivating global fans with their ethereal beauty.
WJSN once again lived up to their reputation as “pictorial masters”, delivering expressive facial acting and dynamic poses that convey the profound and multifaceted nature of beauty.
Having recently wrapped up her first solo fan meeting, Seola expressed deep affection for fans, known as UJUNG:
“Just thinking of the word UJUNG gives me chills. There are many moments when I feel love from them, but nothing compares to the sweet feeling of locking eyes with them on stage—it’s the most magical connection in the world.”
Exy (Chu Sojung), who continues to build her acting career through works like “Heo Sikdang” and “Divorce Insurance,” shared her mindset on taking on different roles:
“Whether it’s music or acting, the love and passion I pour into each role remain the same. I want to face challenges and take on risks without fear. I believe those experiences will help me grow into a more flexible actress.”
Soobin (Son Juyeon), who has appeared in dramas like “At Your Distance, We Are” and the film “Amoeba Girls and the School Horror: Foundation Day,” cited her fans as a major driving force:
“Whenever I feel scared or hesitant, I try to trust myself—and the presence of my fans gives me incredible strength. Their support and belief in me are what propel me forward into the next chapter.”
Yeoreum, who is set to appear in the upcoming film “Student Teacher Practice” later this year, shared her confidence in the role of Saetbyeol:
“When I tapped into the more playful and cute side of myself, I felt that I really connected with Saetbyeol.”
She also spoke warmly of fans, calling them: “Too precious to express in words, the people I cherish the most. They’re always the ones I want to give back to.”
