
Ahn Hyo Seop surprised fans with a gift and returned to being Jinwoo from 'Kpop Demon Hunters.'
On July 1, Ahn Hyo Seop uploaded a short video clip on his social media covering the original soundtrack "Free" from the hit Netflix animated film. From the very first note, he embodies Jinwoo completely, bringing the character to life again. This is fitting, as he voices the character in the film.
'Kpop Demon Hunters' has been dominating both film and music charts since its release on June 20. According to FlixPatrol, it has ranked No. 1 in Netflix’s Top 10 Films category for 11 consecutive days.
The songs from the film are also gaining global popularity. The 'Kpop Demon Hunters' OST debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 (dated July 5).
That’s not all. “Your Idol” by the Saja Boys debuted at No. 77 on the Billboard Hot 100, while “Golden” by HUNTR/X entered at No. 81.

On Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, “Golden” ranked higher, reaching No. 6 on the Daily Top Songs Global chart (dated June 29), while “Your Idol” placed at No. 10.
In addition, the Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” ranked No. 16, HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” was No. 17, and the duet “Free” by Rumi and Jinwoo came in at No. 27 on the same chart.
'Kpop Demon Hunters' is an animated film centered on K-pop idols. It follows a girl group who are also demon hunters, as they face off against a demon faction boy group.
