Viewers demand feedback from 'Produce 101' for unfair voting system

'Produce 101' viewers are demanding an explanation from Mnet.

On the 21st's episode, the trainees went up against one another and covered various songs by sunbae boy groups. One of the songs covered was 2PM's "10 out of 10". The two groups that went up against each other were Yoon Jae Chan, Lee Hoo Rim, Kim Hyun Woo, Yoon Ji Sung, Kim Tae Woo, and Kim Tae Min, versus No Tae Hyun, Yoon Yong Bin, Hong Eun Ki, Byun Hyun Min, Ahn Hyung Seob, Park Woo Jin, and Choi Joon Young. The second team had one more member than the first team.

As a result, the second team won - but not by much. In fact, the second team only won in the 'sub vocal 3' category when matched up to the other team, and won by a mere 47 points even though they had one more member. When averaged, the first team has 59.5 per member while the second has 57.3.

During Season 1's 1st round, the teams that covered f(x)'s "LA chA TA" had a similar issue where one team had less members than the other team. As a result, the 'Season 1' staff averaged the scores and gave the victory to the team with the higher average instead of the higher total.

Many netizens are furious over the situation, as 3,000 votes can mean either an in or out for many trainees. Viewers are arguing it was unfair for the first team because they had less members, and because they won in almost all the matchups.
