An ad by a Chinese company is being criticized for copying TWICE's concept for ''Knock Knock''.

As you can see, the same color tones, and the pose with the door and windows found in TWICE's concept photos for ''Knock Knock'' is also seen in the Chinese ad. Many Korean netizens are finding the similarities unpleasant as well as unfair, especially since China is currently banning Korean entertainment in response to the issue with THAAD.

Comments stated, "They're exactly the same", "China copies everything..", "I thought it was a parody", "They hate Korea because of THAAD but still copying us", "Wow they're so shameless."

It's not really China "stealing from" Korea..... Korea doesn't have a copyright or anything so it's not illegal and they don't "own" the image. Not saying it's not a bad thing to take something that is already being used but it's not like Korea hasn't ever taken things from other countries and not give them credit for it....

You know what China does when there are crises in the world? NOTHING! All they will say is: Maintain calm and collected. That is all they say. But what these dumb-ass Chinese do when Tzusu waved her Taiwanese flag? Whole nation crazy! I think you get my point.

Basically it's like "Your problem is not my problem, My problem is everybody problem", or in short-term "Selfish" AKA Stinky Shellfish

Do you know why Chinese got slaughtered in so many nations, especially in SE Asian nations such as Indonesia, Malaysia, VietNam, etc in the past? Because only thing they know and care is MONEY! They don't care about how the locals live. They only care about themselves. I don't know what they spend their money on but they don't even take bath. Only money! That is why they get slaughtered

And then kick that Chinese ambassador out of Korea!

Get Chinese out of Kpop!

Korea does NOT need China! China needs Korea.

uh wow no. China does NOT need South Korea either. China is doing extremely well without anybody. China is trying to stop South Korea from doing something that puts a hell of alot of things in jeopardy.

So many Chinese called me a racist. So I have a request from all of you.  Why don't you call your Chinese embassy and tell them to "behave" like a sovereign nation, instead of rogue one. And tell your government to stop stealing Intellectual Property.

The ChiComs will steal any intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and technology - copy it, make it more cheaply with slave labor, pass it off as their own invention, and then try to bump the originator out of the market. Doing business with them is like feeding a monster that will eventually eat you as well.

Does it have to be only Twice's concept? I mean, would it still be copying if China just changed the colors? The concept looks the same as the Brady Bunch.

Seriously, I was going comment that this pop out of box concept is definitely not unique to Twice. Indefinitely. But really, the color scheme plus the small detail like the rectangle on the side of each box does make it very much a template copy. their treatment of font and content is very different though.
