Given the topic of 'Letter', the finalists had to prepare a collaboration stage with talented artists.

First to perform was Lee Dong Min. He sang about returning home after achieving success with rapper G2 and Don Mills.

Second up was Kim Sun Jae and SISTAR's Hyorin. Kim Sun Jae's message was directed toward his close friend Chae Min who stood by his side during struggles.

Next, Kim Kyu Hun came on stage with Jessi and Babylon. At the time of the competition, Kim Kyu Hun's grandfather passed away. He dedicated the stage to his grandfather and touched hearts with his performance.

NCT's Mark collaborated with labelmate Red Velvet's Seulgi. Mark opened up about the stereotypes against idol rappers while preparing the stage.

The most anticipated finalist, Choi Ha Min, took over the stage next. He was the only finalist to perform with his own crew without the help of a famous artist.

Jo Won Woo performed with Samuel Seo and Nucksal with the message about his father.

Last but not least, Yang Hong Won, who got swept up in school violence controversy, came on stage with Crucial Star. Yang Hong Won confessed that he thought about leaving the show following the controversy but decided to work harder.

Ultimately, Yang Hong Won took the victory on the first ever 'School Rapper' with a total score of 244!

good job mark. I'm glad that he didn't win tho. I'm sure people will bash him if he win, they will say that he win because the power of SM. so just like tiger JK said. he already has agency, and fandom, he has a career already. so his future is already bright enough even he didn't win this.

I know Mark is not gonna win, even know I know he can to do it, people will start talking how he and sm abusing power if he is, but hey he still so young and his career path is already open wide and bright, so I'm  happy he in finals, it seems like everyone underestimate him since start, but he prove it wrong, fighting Mark Lee, fighting NCT! ^^

Aww, Mark got last place but it's okay. He did great and he came to prove his skill and to show what he has and he has achieved them already. xD!

Yang Hong Won completely stole my heart! All rappers final stages were amazing. Choi Hamin is an amazing artist and performer, but Yang Hong Won has amazing rapping skills, they are both brilliant! But so happy Hong Won won!

He was never going to win, the show would have been called unfair if he did. He came to prove his skills and he did, so he's good.

yutakunnn 1llionaire Friday, March 31, 2017

yeah he ranked 7th out of hundred participants. isn't it amazing?

Mark is cute, but rappers have more leeway in terms of how necessary it is for them to be "visuals" versus how well they can rap. Especially if they can rap on the fly AKA "freestyle", not just recite texts from memory.

rooted for mark, and thought Hamin deserved to win. Yung b was good, no doubt, but throughout the whole show Hamin was more consistent.

Agree with u. Hamin was more consistent since from the start till the end^^
