Former Wonder Girls member and actress Sohee held an interview for her upcoming film 'Single Rider' on February 22.

During her interview, she was asked about her fellow Wonder Girls members attending the VIP premiere of 'Single Rider' on February 21. Sohee shared, "I greeted the members in the waiting room, and got choked up. I almost cried. I was thankful they came. It was a production I'd wanted to show them, so I was thankful when they talked about it positively." During her interview also, she had to pause to regain her composure, thinking back on the memory.

She continued, "Because [the Wonder Girls] members and I talk so often, I knew about their disbandment beforehand. For me, I was more affected when I left the group to pursue a career as an actress, more than the disbandment. I wish the members will do even better after the disbandment."

Sohee's new film 'Single Rider', also starring Lee Byung Hun and Gong Hyo Jin, is currently showing in theaters in Korea.

Extremely sad for me as a Black Jack when comparing how Minzy found out about 2NE1's disbandment.

Girl, stfu and stay out of it where you don't belong anymore! Better think about the next dick you're going to hop on!

How about you stfu instead? She was part of the group for 7 years and is still CLEARLY very close with all of them. Sit your dumb ass down.

I hate the way these groups end. There should be a clause in their contracts that if they do disband they do one farewell fanmeeting before they part ways. I know its awkward for them but they owe that much to the fans. A farewell song is great but the lack of closure is unacceptable.

BigBlueagain taj4329 Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Just the nature of the beast. If they could pull it together enough for that, they probably wouldn't be ending.

Winston taj4329 Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Personally I think all groups should end with a Farewell track, a farewell fansign, and a farewell concert, then a get-together dinner/trip with the members.

karebearsays Winston Wednesday, February 22, 2017

you know, if the disbandment was because of a problem between the members, I don't think that last part would be the best idea lol.

Dani8493 Winston Wednesday, February 22, 2017

I'm sure they would all love to do that, but disbandment appears to always come up when their contracts end/are up for renewal. To do what you are suggesting would mean that they would need to decide on disbandment at least a few months before their contracts end in order to be able to do that. Otherwise it is extremely difficult to do once everyone has left a company.

Stansohee Dani8493 Wednesday, February 22, 2017

WG not withstanding, most of the time contract expirations are discussed like 3 months before actual expiration. Unfortunately, in this case, there were other factors at play that made things difficult. We wonderfuls should take solace in the fact that the girls, whether together as a group or not, still seem to be incredibly close.

I tend to agree with you ; IF there is not a lot of 'ill will' amongst the members 'on the way out the door.' Like with 4MINUTE, I am NOT sure how the *other* members felt about it that HYUNA was the ONLY member that did RE-SIGN with CUBE Agency. With WONDER GIRLS, it was more a situation of 'the time had come' to 'call it good enough' for WONDER GIRLS. But even with 4MINUTE, one could *wish* that they could 'set aside' any 'ill will' and just do 'one last song' for the FANS' benefit. After all, the 4MINUTE members did *all* make a LOT of MONEY from their 7 Years Run with 4MINUTE Group. A 'last farewell song' would *not* be asking that much, as I see it. Any 'tension' between members can be 'edited out' as I see it, in the MV ... ... (Joking) Also, it could be 'good sport' to look for *small gestures' by members during the MV that reflect 'hidden dislike' of the AGENCY maybe? ...

Winston Dani8493 Wednesday, February 22, 2017

Of cos if the disbandment is due to member conflict, but for disbandment due to personal change of interest, like the members want to go acting or something, it can be done in a graceful way.

The End
