Go Ara has officially bid SM Entertainment farewell and is now an actress under Artist Company.
On January 9, Artist Company officially announced that they've signed a contract with Go Ara and stated, "After meeting and talking with Go Ara, we realized that she's an actress who has many concerns, as well as a sincere passion for acting. We want to support her passion in taking a strong path as an actress. She's also an actress who has more to show than she has shown so far, and we'll work hard to help her flourish her talent."

Artist Company is a label formed by actors Jung Woo Sung and Lee Jung Jae. In addition, this is the first time Go Ara is promoting under a label other than SM Entertainment.
