Daegu Police Station uploaded a heartwarming story on their SNS recently that featured a little boy who picked up $18 while playing in the playground. He wanted to find the person who lost the money, so he asked his dad to take him to the police station so they could be of help.
In the video, you can see the boy excitedly walking into the police station and telling a police officer about the money he found as soon as he walks into the station. The 5-year-old cannot contain his eagerness, and as his dad explains to the police the situation, the boy also tells his story to an elderly man sitting at a table. The police took the money and promised the little boy that they would do their best to find the owner and return it.
The cute story does not end there! At the police station, the father of the little angel asked the cop for a favor -- he wanted his son to be rewarded for his good behavior so he would grow up to be an honest person, so the dad asked the officer if he could give his son a phone call next day, complimenting the little boy. Instead, the police chief decided that it would fitting for the 5-year-old to receive an award!
The police chief visited the little boy's kindergarten the next day and recognized the boy's honesty and good deed by giving him an award of honor in front of the entire school!
