MONSTA X named a few of the qualities that make them stand out among the thriving boy group market. 
On the October 18 airing of 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, "Nowadays, the competition among boy groups such as SHINee, BTS, and more is fierce. What are MONSTA X's strengths?"
The members replied, "We always say our energy. We also have a twist because we sing strong and aggressive songs on stage but turn into nice boys when communicating with our fans off -stage." They also added, "Each member has outstanding physical qualities. We are like the Avengers."
As for individual strengths, the boys said, "Jooheon can rap extremely well, and each member is a strength for just being that member."
