On September 21, 'Weekly Idol' welcomed back Jung Hyung Don, also known as MC Donnie, to the signature, all-white set!

Jung Hyung Don returned to his main MC position alongside Defconn for a new recording of the show with guests A Pink, looking right at home despite having been gone for almost a year.

During the recording, A Pink reportedly congratulated Jung Hyung Don's return warmly, in addition to creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone on set and boasting perfect, hilarious chemistry with the MCs.

Yayyy! I'm so happy he's back!!!! I loved Heechul and Hani (and everyone else subbing), but it wasn't the same without him!  Can't wait for the release of the episode.

I'm glad he's back, and I'm glad he's been taking care of himself, but some of his comments still made me a bit sad for him. For example, I'm very happy that he's just starting off with coming back on one show, so that he can give himself time to really get back into the swing of things. He'd also said in another interview that he couldn't really talk as an expert about mental illness, but that it wasn't something that just went away, which is sad but true. He did say that he was taking less medication, and felt his therapy was working, which is wonderful! I did find it a little bittersweet when he said that Heechul and Hani could take over for him again when his illness/anxiety kicked back in- I know he's trying to find humor in his situation, but I hope he will have more faith in his recovery.

YAAAS! It really wasn't the same without him, Weekly Idol needs his humour! So glad that he's feeling better too, fighting!

I can't see Jung Hyung Don the way as before because he came from depression. Is it better for him to be in a new kind of talk show, to have a new atmosphere. But still I believe in his power to make people naturally laughed.

Not depression. Anxiety issues.

Oh...nevertheless same thoughts want to express :)

Why on Earth would he need to find a new show? You being unable to get over your own preconceived notions about people who deal with anxiety issues is your problem, not his. He's the same person he has always been - LITERALLY, he is the exact same person he has always been. Nothing has changed. I mean, you're free to "see Jung Hyung Don" the way you did before, but I think it's pretty crappy, tbh. The man is a great host and comedian, and it's the issues he struggles with that make him that way.

Just expressing my thoughts. Chill. I thought it as a way of refreshing his mind by relating his struggles in a show like strong heart (not that serious show but wherein he can give an advice to the guests). But on a second thought, maybe he would lose his own color in a variety show like that.
