BLACKPINK's "JUMP" surpasses aespa's “DIRTY WORK” as the Best Selling Single in 2025 by a K-pop Group in China

BLACKPINK ended their three-year musical hiatus with the official release of "JUMP", their bold new single that blends retro dance vibes with modern flair. The song has quickly gained traction, climbing the charts on major music platforms worldwide.

One of BLACKPINK’s most remarkable achievements with this release is their undeniable success in the Chinese market—a notoriously challenging environment for foreign artists due to the country’s strict policies and complex logistics. In a stunning feat, “JUMP” debuted at #1 on the Daily Best Selling Singles charts for QQ Music with over 53,000 digital copies sold and KuGou with over 14,000 digital copies sold, once again cementing BLACKPINK's dominance in one of the world's largest and most competitive music markets, achieving this milestone in less than 30 minutes after the song's release.

Subsequently, and with only a few hours of counting, BLACKPINK's “JUMP” became the "Best-Selling Single on QQ Music in 2025", with over 270K sales and achieving this after being above any Chinese and non-Chinese single.

That was not all, as although the first day of counting has not yet ended, BLACKPINK's "JUMP" has surpassed more than 312k copies sold in China, surpassing Aespa's 'Dirty Work' (299k copies sold) to become the "Best Selling Single by a Kpop Group in China in 2025". With these sales figures, it has also surpassed the global mega hit "Like JENNIE" by Jennie (311k copies sold) to become the "2nd Best Selling Kpop single in China this year", only behind YUQI's "Radio (DUM DUM)" (406K copies sold). However, thanks to the giant strides "JUMP" is making in just a few hours, it is expected to soon lead the charts completely.

According to early predictions for the 2025 China Year-End Awards, BLACKPINK is already being considered for multiple nominations thanks to their outstanding performance in the region. With each new release, BLACKPINK continues to push boundaries and redefine what it means to be a global superstar in the 21st century.
