Ma Dong Seok and Seo In Guk have teamed up once again to take down Park Hyungsik in the new fantasy hero action series, 'Twelve'.
Coming next month simultaneously to Disney+ Korea and KBS2, 'Twelve' is a modern-day fantasy action hero tale inspired by the 12 zodiac animals of East Asian folklore.
The story centers around 12 zodiac guardians who must fight to protect the human realm from the demons of the underworld. However, one guardian (the crow) who once turned to the dark side long ago stands in their way. The drama stars Ma Dong Seok as the leader of the guardians, the tiger, as well as Seo In Guk (the monkey), Lee Joo Bin (the goat), Go Kyu Pil (the hog), Kang Mi-Na (the dog), Sung Yoo Bin (the rat), Ahn Ji Hye (the horse), and Regina Lei (the snake). Sung Dong Il also rounds out the cast as the keeper of the guardians, Ma Rok.
Combining both historical and modern elements, as well as fantasy, action, and drama, 'Twelve' is set to premiere on August 23 at 9:20 PM KST.
