That awkward moment when your friends admit they pick their noses...

A drunken Seo Woo gets kicked out of Soon Hee's restaurant, having stayed well past closing. Yoon Do confesses to Ji Hong that he likes Hye Jung. Hye Jung threatens the assistant who wrote up the surgery notes for Grandma, wanting the truth about her death. President Hong resigns over a tax scandal. Seo Woo makes a conscious decision to be evil since being nice has gotten her nowhere. Hye Jung is given a new car by the mob boss she treated. Young doctor Kang Soo and Nurse Hyeon crash that expensive import car. After his resignation, the President undergoes an operation to remove cancerous cells, and Ji Hong tells Yoon Do that if his old man dies, Ji Hong will kill him...

And Seo Woo goes full-on bitch-mode. This is a girl who's had very little of consequence happen to her, and now she's crying over what? Failed relationship, bad professional decisions? Not really sympathetic.  Everyone has this happen. Bearing it with grace is part of life. Being good has done little for her, so she decides to be evil and calculating? Seems extreme to me. At least we get a bad girl out of it.

Why is he the Hide and Seek champion? Because no one's looking for him.

We have a conspiracy on our hands. Once that guy is threatened, he goes straight to the director. The director was the surgeon that fateful night and he remembers Hye Jung. The director blows the dude off, but he has his assistant find out who was inquiring about the file. Ruh roh. Given what he did to the President, I think a number of people are going to have to fight to keep their jobs.

Ji Hong has lost his objectivity. That's the one thing a doctor can't afford to do. At least he admits it and knows it's bad, but I think keeping his cool will be the best way to save his adoptive father. What I'm hoping is that he doesn't lose more than that. The greedy board members see him as a threat and would delight in firing him. Not to mention he could lose Hye Jung's respect...

Slap cam!

Does Yoon Do really have a chance? He's admitted to everyone except his crush that he likes Hye Jung. He even says it to Seo Woo, much to her chagrin. Ji Hong doesn't take him seriously, but shouldn't he? Yoon Do could easily ally himself with any of their enemies and cause havoc. But then, that's the fun part about this drama -- you never know quite where it's headed. I have a feeling things are going to get worse before they get better.

I have to say that I like this drama a lot. You're probably getting tired of me saying it, but Mondays and Tuesdays are really days to look forward to. This has a lot of suspense amid the romance, and the blend is nicely done. And the next episode looks really juicy, if the trailer's anything to judge by. This episode especially had some turning points, so it will be interesting to see how those shake out.

Hope you're still with me on this!

The main leads developed their relationship too quick! Even since when they were teacher-Student....

uh seo woo is literally my only life-line to this drama. the fact that you choose to ignore her story and straight-forwardly label her only as a "bad girl" kinda pisses me off

Totally agree with you

exactly! imo, i feel like seo woo's story is so much more realistic than hye jung's & totally justifies her dislike towards hye jung. i get it, she acts like a brat & is driven by her jealousy (that she fails to admit), but in all honesty, she is raised by parents who don't know how to love & spends almost all of her time with a father who is indifferent towards his patients' deaths! so far, she hasn't stepped into her father's footsteps & idk if the deal with yoon do is going to officially push her over the line but i rlly hope she will sustain her doctor pride & eventually even learn how to love anyone other than a fucking bastard who doesn't want her bc she doesn't fit his "type"

There are quite few errors in your review. Yoon Do did admit to Hye Jung that he likes her, but Hye Jung did not care for it. President Hong did not retire because of the tax scandal, he will stepped down because of his health (not sure if he really has stepped down as the surgery is being kept a secret and Dr Hong and President Hong only discussed him retiring but nothing official came out) and the surgery of President Hong has not taken place that was some other patient.

This drama is kind of a slice of life and people not understanding that and expecting so many twists and turns are being unrealistic. This is not the plot you are looking for. I am saying this because many bring this up all the time. You are in the 9th episode you should know by now if you like it or not.

One of the things that really stands out for me in this drama is no matter your upbringing whether privilege or not, you still have the choice in deciding who you want to be. You have choices in life and it's all up to you what you make out of it.
