13 pairs of actors who became real-life couples after starring together

Nothing is better than the perfect romance that can be found through the magic of Korean dramas. While we enjoyed seeing two couples on screen indulging in their butterfly feelings, we never want it to end!

Fortunately for some, these couples took their relationships off screen and became real life couples. Check out these 13 couples that went beyond your TV and made love a reality - whether it lasted or not.

1. Lee Chung Ah & Lee Ki Woo leekiwooleechungah.png

While first meeting on the set of 'Flower Boy Ramen Shop' in 2011, actor Lee Ki Woo made the fantasy a reality and put a ring on it (couple ring, anyways) in 2013! His genuine feelings would make anyone swoon as he revealed in an interview with 'Taxi,' "I live in the same neighborhood as Lee Chung Ah. In the beginning, whenever Lee Chung Ah said, 'Let's meet sometime in the neighborhood,' I misinterpreted that gesture and thought that she was interested in me. This was because I already had feelings for her."

2. Goo Hye Sun & Ahn Jae Hyun

News is all a buzz lately since it was revealed that 'Blood' lead stars Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun have been dating for over a year now! Clearly the chemistry on screen was steamier off as more and more news is flying in about the two-- especially their kiss scene that lasted over 3 hours!

3. Park Han Byul & Jung Woo

Park Han Byul and singer Se7en were in a well known relationship  for over 12 years before breaking up in early 2014. The drama 'One Well-Raised Daughter' was Park Han Byul's and Jung Woo's first encounter as their drama was meeting with success in both ratings and in love when the two started dating later that same year. Although they appeared to be going strong, the two ultimately broke up.

4. Ji Hyun Woo & Yoo In Na

These two had a dynamic connection through the time-travelling love story for 'Queen In Hyun's Man.' Ji Hyun Woo made the first move as he asked out co-star Yoo In Na in 2012. However, after just making their relationship public, Ji Hyun Woo announced his departure to serve his mandatory military enlistment (for 21 months, ouch!) and the two sadly split up after he was discharged in May 2014. Many speculate it was the distance and inability to see each other that split the two.

5. Lee Min Ho & Park Min Young

In early 2011, Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young had been reported to be in a relationship. The news reported that they pulled many all-nighters while filming 'City Hunter' and grew close to each other on the filming set. Sadly, a year later, they parted ways, saying their busy schedules made them drift apart.

6. Ji Sung & Lee Bo Young

The sweet pair Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung found love filming the drama 'Save The Last Dance For Me' together. They met in 2004, started dating in 2007, and soon after married in September 2014! Their wedding photos are like a dream and outshine any drama romance and they recently welcomed their first baby!

7. Eugene & Ki Tae Young

Probably one of the most happiest/successful drama-to-reality love couples out there, Eugene and Ki Tae Young really sparked a connection through the 2009 drama 'Creating Destiny.' The two tied the knot and married in July 2011. Plus, they even had a baby girl together! Maybe these more-than-romantic drama love stories are real after all?

8. Lee Chun Hee & Jun Hae Jin

The two lovebirds Lee Chun Hee and Jun Hye Jin met during their time filming the 2009 hit drama 'Smile'; however, it wasn't until 2011 that Lee Chun Hee popped the question and the two married! Despite the 9-year age difference, the two share a marvelous connection.Their honeymoon took place in Hawaii and they even gave birth to a beautiful daughter in July of 2011.

9. Kim Bum & Moon Geun Young

Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young start up a love affair after the love connection between their characters in 'Goddess of Fire' became too real. The relationship fell short as the two broke up in May of 2014 after only dating a little over a year.

10. Han Ga In & Yun Jung Hoon

The fresh-faced actors of 'Yellow Handkerchief' proved that love comes unexpectedly in life! While dating for some time, the two were madly in love and quick to be married in 2005 and are now considered one of Korea's celebrity power couples.

11. On Joo Wan & Jo Bo Ah

After working together on the set of 'Surplus Princess' the beautiful duo Ohn Joo Wan and Jo Bo Ah became an item that same year! The cupid couple have been together for a year and going strong as they continue with their romance.

12. Hyun Bin & Song Hye Kyo

'The World That They Live In' stirred up romance behind the scenes as Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo began dating in June 2009. Unfortunately for shippers and the couple, the two separated after two years of dating in 2011.

13. Jung Woo Sung & Lee Ji Ah

Although laying low from the spotlight and paparazzi Jung Woo Sung and Lee Ji Ah grew smitten after filming 'Athena.' They started dating in 2010 and even travelled to Paris together for a romantic getaway. However, in April, 2011, the two parted ways due in part to Lee Ji Ah's ex-husband Seo Tae Ji's lawsuit on property division. Not cool.
