The idol explained the behind story on how she got to start blogging on the February 4 episode of JTBC's 'Old House New House,' saying, "I began a blog because when you're an artist, there are times your album does well but there are also times when it doesn't do too well."

The idol further explained, "The secret to [my blog's success] is my father. My father ran a butcher's shop for a while. Cooking good meat is just basic stuff, and he's always been a good cook. I learned directly from my father and learned how to make a variety of dishes. When I'm too tired to check up on my blog, my dad urges me, 'I prepared all the ingredients so come quickly,'" confessing that her father gives her no time to rest.
Jisook then said, "After my mom passed away two years ago, my dad does all the housework now. Because we don't have a range hood, when my dad has to cook fish, he cooks it outdoors. I hope that I'll get a chance to remake the kitchen for him so that he won't ever have to cook fish outside again." Aww, we don't doubt that you will be able to gift a new kitchen for your dad soon, Jisook!
