Using the trending concept of 'Mukbang (eating broadcast),' 'Late-Night Restaurant' will express the healing power of food through its characters' stories and the food they eat. The show's biggest appeal will be its allowing the audience to visually feast upon the joys of eating through every episode.
Nam Tae Hyun will be playing the role of kind-hearted Minwoo, a young man with a diligent and positive attitude. A rep from the show stated, "In the midst of looking for an actor that would express Minwoo's character, Nam Tae Hyun caught our eye. Thought he is still an amateur who holds little acting experience, we anticipate that he will deliver the character well with his unique charms."
